| Use of knitting machine parts 1. Ring brush Also called folding brush, it is installed on both sides of the yarn guide to block the knitting line of the collecting ring when knitting the collecting ring pattern. It must be installed before knitting. But when inlaying and weaving, take off the ring collecting brush. 2. Needle lifting plate It is used to hang the wool at the bottom to complete the stitching. The needle lifting plate has hook type and comb type. The hook type is used for stitching when the main machine is knitting. There are two kinds of stitches: long plate is suitable for fabrics with less than 82 stitches, and short plate is suitable for fabrics with less than 38 stitches. When weaving fabrics with more than 82 stitches, the two plates need to be inserted into one. When the main and auxiliary machines are used at the same time, the comb type is used. The comb type is called the opening comb type. There are two kinds of long and short. The short plate is used for fabrics with 104 stitches or less, and the long plate is used for all the needles. 3. Heavy hammer It is also called counterweight, which is used to increase the pulling force of the fabric to help take off the loop. It is divided into plate hanging hammer and round weight hammer. Plate has two kinds of width, narrow hanging hammer is generally used for the edge of fabric. The round mound type can be divided into size and weight. It should be used according to the knitting needs. Generally speaking, a little heavier is better than a little lighter. See Figure 24 4. Needle selection board The needle selection board, also known as the flower board, is prepared for the convenience of needle selection and needle dialing. When knitting, according to the requirements of pattern, use needle selection board to move the heel to the corresponding position. Generally, random accessories are equipped with 1 × 1, 2 × 1, 2 × 2, 3 × 1 needle selection boards. "1 × 1" means pulling out a needle every other stitch, "2 × 1" means pulling out a needle every two stitches, and so on. When designing the pattern, if we feel that the existing pattern board is not enough, we can make our own pattern board according to the change of pattern. The specific production methods are as follows: ① Prepare a waste plastic ruler or other material close to the hardness of the pattern board. ② Calculate the size (mm) required for the number of parting pins and dialing pins of the pattern, and engrave them on the ruler with tools. ③ Use a small saw or knife to remove the part of the needle along the line, and use sandpaper to grind the burr. It doesn't take much effort to make an economical and practical needle selection board. Moreover, if the quality is good and the workmanship is fine, its service life can be compared with that of the needle selection board in accessories. 5. Moving ring device So it's called Siyi. It's a tool for moving circles. Such as hollow knitting, twist knitting, also used to cooperate with the needle and needle. |
